The future is green. At mbw, it's not just that, it's also in the middle of Munich, 60m² in size and full of technical finesse. Our new green screen studio offers our customers countless opportunities to present their company and products in the most innovative way. Investing in the future

In difficult economic times like these, it is more important than ever for companies to act with courage and foresight and to emphasize their own unique selling points. We want to make this possible for our customers with the new green screen studio – and are setting the best example by investing in state-of-the-art, future-proof technology. „We are venturing into new, exciting production possibilities. And we are doing it individually, far away from the mainstream. When the idea came up a good year ago, the entire team was immediately on fire. Now we are happy and proud to be able to turn audiovisual visions into reality every day in our brand new studio“, says CEO Caroline von der Marwitz.

Although mbw has had a well-equipped TV studio for more than 20 years, the green screen room was previously only only rudimentarily equipped with a green fabric horizon. We agreed that much more could be done and that now was the right time to get started. When planning and developing the new studio, we got leading experts for TV productions of green screens on board. This exchange resulted in what is probably the most modern and innovative green screen studio in the middle of Munich.

State of the art technology

With a custom-made, extremely stable cove, people can be inserted into vitual environments from head to toe. Another new feature is the permanently installed lighting system, which guarantees the uniform illumination that is essential for green screen productions. Therefore, the lighting does not have to be completely reset before each production. This saves a lot of time and therefore money for the customer.

However, the core of the green screen studio is located next door in the control room. Several high-performance computers and the so called Unreal Engine, one of the most powerful graphic software programms for creating 3D environments in real time, are able to transport us to other worlds in an instant. Alaska or outer space, wind farm or desert, depending on the customer's wishes, the right vitual setting is created at the mere mouse click – and in a quality, making you briefly doubt whether you really still have both feet firmly on the studio floor.

A whole range of possibilities

The range of potential purposes is huge. It extends from product launches and recruiting clips to video statements that are refreshingly different. Players for events, lectures, webinars, talks, photo shoots, media and communication training – all these and more are possible and will get that certain somethingthrough the individually customized virtual location.

In our green screen studio, companies from all sectors find the ideal setting not only to present their products and services, but also to share their individual story in their own world. It couldn't be more vivid. This works not only for products that are already ”sexy“, but also for complex technical developments. Of course, the new sneaker collection can be staged on Broadway and in the Bahamas at the same time in just a few hours of production time. But a comlpicated production proccess, including the inner workings of the machines, could also be explained in the green screen studio. The corresponding 3D environment is simply generated with a mouse click.

Numbers are boring? Not if they shoot out of the ground, fly in or grow in form of a diagram. You want an example? A summary of the annual report as a video clip with catchy animations is guaranteed to stick in the minds of stakeholders and employees more than plain charts on paper. In this way, modern companies not only impress with stunning results, but also by presenting them in a contemporary, visually appealing and therefore catchy way.

In general, our motto is „nothing is impossible“ – our professional team is well prepared to offer customers the greatest possible flexibility. Productions in front of a green screen can be recorded or streamed live thanks to our many years of streaming expertise. AS the control room is seperate, there is constant communication between the production team and the client, including last-minute changes during production. The service also includes training and courses with experienced media professionals, because acting confidently in a green screen studio is different than acting in front of the camera in a „normal“ studio and needs to be learned and trained.

However, as many processes are automated, we need fewer stadd on site than in a „normal“ studio. This streamlines the production in every aspect."
