The 4-i-Model

mbw's 4-i-Model links together the four core areas of personal branding – identity, interest, individual stage management and interaction. This model is the basis of our training concepts. Before we begin to build skills and practice in front of the camera, we take a close look at your identity and ask the questions: Who am I? Who do I want to be? Based on this, we develop with you individual strategies that use your strengths to gain attention, present content interestingly and be persuasive in interactions. We work systematically with you to prepare the way for your self-marketing. We build your ability to position yourself authentically as a person and a company in the awareness of your target group.

All communication is based on fundamental abilities:

  • Social competence (to communicate on the target group's terms)
  • Personal competence (to communicate thoughts and decisions clearly and credibly)
  • Methodological competence (knowing the basic rules of communication)
  • Subject competence (persuading others with expert knowledge)

After-Work Courses

Get to know us in a no-cost, two and half hour After-Work Course. You can try some practical training immediately and get a good look at our training offerings. In an exercise with camera and microphone, we'll show you some basic rules for good interviews. Find out how to respond to journalists' questions professionally and give the interview your spin, so that your message comes through. Ask us about the next dates.

In our two-day Basic Course you learn to act with confidence at public appearances. Our media professionals will show you techniques that help you formulate clear, meaningful statements. How do you come across, and how would you like to? Together with you, we'll develop communications strategies tailored to your personality. This gives them an authenticity that is very persuading.
